Chocolate Chip Cookies


You will need:

  • 2 1/4 cups of all purpose flour.
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda.
  • 1 tsp. of salt.
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) of softened butter or margarine.
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar.
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar.
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips.

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 *F.
  2. Combine four, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. 
  3. Beat butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until creamy and then add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  4. Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
  5. Drop in and stir the chocolate chips in.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until they are all a golden brown.
  8. Let them cool for about 20 minutes before serving. 
  9. Eat.

            I love making chocolate chip cookies because my grandmother used to make them a lot when I was little. There is no challenge in making these yummy, sweet, and delicious treats. They are my favorite original and simple dessert to make.
